SourceSafe Addin Features

SourceSafe Addin is a Visual SourceSafe Addin which has two functions:

  1. Prevent SourceSafe from checking files in when there isn't enough disk space left on the drive
  2. aids documentation fo C/C++/IDL/ODL files by automatically adding/updating header information to the files if it is missing.

SourceSafe Addin only works with Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6. There are no plans to port this to other versions.

N.B. Auto Aupdate assumes that you are always connected to the internet. If you are using a dial-up connection to the internet or are not connected to the internet you may be prompted by windows to connect to the internet.

Configuration

SourceSafe Addin from version 1.0 Build 10 reads from TSSrcSafeAddin.ini to determine its settings. SourceSafe Addin looks for TSSrcSafeAddin.ini in the same folder as the srcsafe.ini for the configuration file so that all users of the repository can use the same settings.
