  1. TradUtil

    1. Where can I get TradUtil from?

      The primary distribution site is at       http://www.twaddle.demon.co.uk/ although it is uploaded to other sites after it has been released there.

    2. What data formats are supported?

      Currently only the MetaStock format version 3.02 (AKA Classic format) is supported, with limited support for CompuTrac files.

    3. Is TradUtil Year 2000 (Y2K) compliant?

      Tradutil has been tested and will work with dates on and after 1st January 2000. The limitation on two digit years is based on the file formats used.

    4. How many instruments can I have in a directory?

      Up to 254 instruments can be in a directory.

    5. How much does it cost?

      TradUtil version 1.xx is completely free.

    6. How do I report problems?

      Details of any problems with TradUtil should be sent to       . If the problem only occurs with a single file then please send that file as well as a description of how to reproduce the problem.

    7. I'm running Windows 3.11 with Win32s, when I try to test a file it doesn't do so why?

      Testing is not supported on 16 bit versions of Windows (3.1, 3.11 etc). Testing will only work on Windows 95/98 and Windows NT.

    8. What is CTL3D32.DLL?

      CTL3D32 is a visual enhancements DLL. TradUtil will function perfectly well without it. With Versions of windows that do not support the 3d enhancements by standard ( Windows 3.1 and versions of NT prior to 3.51 ) a warning message will appear. This can be ignored. Should you want the 3d enhanced version a verion of the DLL for your platform can be supplied.

    9. Which languages are supported by TradUtil?

      TradUtil currently only supports English. If you require a version in another language and wish to translate the English text into this language then email Twaddle Software at       Twaddle Software.

    1. Where can I get the MetaStock format from?

      The MetaStock format is not owned by Twaddle Software. You will need to contact Equis International for this see       http://www.equis.com/ for details on how to contact them.

    2. I need a provider that supports...

      It is the policy of Twaddle Software that recommendations for data providers are not given.
